The Council of Europe is seeking applications for the position of Project Manager in their Information Technology Department.The successful candidate will be a national of one of our member states and will have experience and in-depth knowledge of ICT and Information and knowledge management system/ECM/Record Management solutions; extensive experience of ICT projects, process modelling and change management; understanding of different work fields (legal, finance, media, etc.); awareness of major market trends, key commercial actors and their strategies and possible impact of developments on ICT initiatives at the Council of Europe.Duties include coordinating activities in the planning, implementation and assessment of ICT projects, in cooperation with other members of staff concerned and / or external resources; conducting meetings to survey ICT project related needs of different Directorates and Departments; evaluating projects to identify appropriate adjustments and to improve working methods; managing the financial resources and activities in order to ensure an effective, efficient and result-oriented outcome.
